I created Girlz Run the World because I believe too many women are waiting for permission to live the life they want. This is your sign. You don't need it.
The truth is — I didn't grow up traveling. I didn't have a passport full of stamps or family vacations around the world. In fact, I didn't take my first plane ride until I was 24 years old.
Before that, the world felt much smaller.
What started as one trip turned into a passion for exploring, learning, and challenging myself. Since then, I've traveled across multiple countries, lived abroad in China, worked in aviation, and experienced cultures, people, and perspectives that completely changed the way I see the world.
It made me uncomfortable.
Travel gave me something far more valuable than photos and stamps. It forced me to navigate cities where I didn't speak the language. It taught me how to solve problems when things didn't go as planned. It taught me confidence, independence, resilience, and how to trust myself.
Every trip pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me become a stronger version of who I already was. Travel exposed me to new ideas, new ways of living, and possibilities I never knew existed. It reminded me that there is so much more waiting for us on the other side of fear.
